Motorsport Legend’s Car To Be Auctioned

A car said to have been driven by Ayrton Senna, one of the greatest motorsport heroes of all time is due to be auctioned by Silverstone Auctions on May 16th.
Motorsport enthusiasts have been invited to witness the car being sold... as well as encouraged to perhaps place a bid themselves.
However, with one of Senna's helmets attracting a £74K+ price tag already the likelihood is that the car is likely to go for an extravagant amount of money. The car insurance is likely to be very expensive for a classic 1984 Toleman formula One car... a car that is expected to go for as much as £750,000 alone!
Commenting on the auction Managing Director for Silverstone Auctions, Nick Whale commented:
"Senna mania is reaching fever pitch and rightly so as he’s considered by many as the greatest F1 driver we’ve ever seen.
"This will be one of the star attractions at the sale as it’s a very rare chance to own a much sought after piece of motorsport and Ayrton Senna history.”
The vehicle is thought to be in excellent condition and has not required restoration work.
