Hay Fever Sufferers Cautioned Over Driving

A new report by One Poll has revealed that dosed-up hay fever sufferers could be risking an accident after admitting to spells of dizziness and drowsiness whilst driving.
With the pollen count expecting to soar, following the spell of heavy rain, drivers with hay fever are warned that their symptoms could be worse than usual.
The research revealed that sneezing and watery eyes will result in 700,000 motorists with hay fever having their eyes shut for 60 seconds out of every 45 minutes spent driving.
This could reduce reaction times, increasing the risk of an accident - resulting in higher car insurance premiums.
However, researchers have also suggested that by taking antihistamine medication to counter the effects could make matters worse. A whopping 1.7 million motorists that use medication have admitted to bouts of dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision and slower reaction times whilst on the road.
Hay fever suffering drivers are urged to take care whilst driving this spring.
