Research carried out by Motors.co.uk has revealed that the white van man is the biggest cause of road rage in the UK.
According to the study 45% of the 2,300 car insurance holders questioned have said that white van drivers are the most annoying, along with the mum on the school run in her four wheel drive at 42%.
The research also revealed that 54% were irritated by being cut-up and 30% were incited by slow drivers.
Other causes of road rage included OAPs, cyclists and taxi drivers with an average of 33%.
The report went on to show that 27% were annoyed by BMW drivers and 19% disliked Range Rovers.
Renault, Fiat and Toyota drivers, however, were revealed to be the most liked.
Commenting on the results, Phil Jones commercial director for Motors.co.uk said:
"Congested roads, together with our high-pressure lives, are causing us emotional distress when driving. This is compounded further by the increasing pressures on the driver's purse. The joy of driving is disappearing."
